Why it matters

Anthropic’s current Responsible Scaling Policy page lists v3.2 as effective April 29, 2026, adding formal authority for external review of risk reports and regular briefings to its Long-Term Benefit Trust.

My takeaway: Use the policy as a governance architecture example: define capability thresholds before testing, assign decision authority, require documented risk reports, establish an independent challenge path, and schedule recurring oversight briefings instead of treating a launch review as the final control.
